Fushimi Inari ShrineKyoto has many World Heritage sites and Important Cultural Properties including "Fushimi Inari Shrine," which is famous for the thousands of red Torii Gates, "Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion)," a stunning gold temple, "Kiyomizu Temple," which is built on a cliff with a beautiful view over the city, and "Sanjusangen-do" which is famous for its 1,001 statues of Kannon, the goddess of mercy. The temple hall is with 120 meters Japan's longest wooden structure.
