Hot springs and Ayurveda treatments go very well together.
When you receive Ayurveda treatment, the herbal ingredients work on the internal organs, making it easier for waste products to be expelled from the body. In Sri Lanka, there is a herbal steam bath called "Hammam" that warms the entire body from the core with steam infused with herbs. It helps to eliminate toxins accumulated in the body through sweat, leaving you feeling refreshed.
In Japan, there is a traditional natural blessing called "onsen," and by entering a hot spring after a treatment, the detoxification is enhanced by the synergistic effect of hot springs and herbal oils, leading to a healthy body.
The oil used at Spa "Yuu" is the ultimate oil made with traditional methods. It is adjusted to suit the fine texture of Japanese skin. It is a very smooth oil that penetrates the skin easily.
Ayurveda treatments are recommended before meals.
After the treatment, the detoxification of waste products continues. By drinking plenty of hot water and sweating well in a hot spring, detoxification can be expected. As the body uses energy for this process, it is recommended to have the treatment on an empty stomach before a meal, so that the digestive energy of the stomach and intestines after eating does not overlap.
The sequence of treatment -> hot spring -> meal -> relaxation is the Golden Plan of Ayurveda. Please experience the lightness of your body the next day. We have also received feedback that receiving treatments consecutively leads to even more refreshing results for the body.
Ayurveda x Onsen for body and mind maintenance.
By having the treatment before dinner (avoiding a full stomach), the herbal oil will be absorbed into the body, making it easier for the body to detoxify.
After the treatment, please soak slowly in the hot spring and sweat profusely. The hot spring bath with its scenic view will give you a relaxing and peaceful rest.
Eating local food is one of the best parts of traveling. In Ayveda, eating is said to be a form of meditation.
Chew slowly and thoroughly and enjoy the experience with all your senses. Before going to bed, please spend time talking with your loved ones or enjoy some quiet time alone.
At Spa "Yuu", Ayurveda treatments involve using high-quality herbal oils imported from Sri Lanka to gently stroke and massage the body, helping to relax muscles and stimulate the removal of toxins and waste from the body. Additionally, by incorporating massage techniques, it effectively addresses muscle tension. A distinctive feature of Spa Esthe Yu is the use of herbal oils tailored to each individual's mind and body.
After the treatment, please make sure to drink plenty of warm water. For your post-treatment meals, chew your food well to aid digestion. You may occasionally feel tired or sleepy, but this is part of the body's process of realignment. Please rest assured.

Ayurveda uses herbal oils, while aromatherapy uses essential oils.
This makes the effects of the oils on the body and mind different.
